How to play

SOLOPick "Solo — play the Statue" (bot guard hunts you) or "Solo — play the Guard" (bot statues sneak around). Fastest way to feel the loop.
WITH FRIENDSOne player hosts (needs port 7777/udp reachable — same LAN, or a port-forward). Others enter the host's IP and Join. 2–8 players, bots fill empty statue slots. Roles rotate each round.
STATUEWASD move · Shift sneak · Space jump · Q strike a statue pose · E (hold) steal a gem — standing still. When "◉ SEEN" shows, the guard has eyes on you: freeze. Mid-stride, mid-air, whatever — you keep the pose.
GUARDBlindfolded for the first 20s. Then: mouse look, flashlight, memory. Left click zaps the statue you suspect. Zapping a real statue = stun + lost charge. Charges are limited.
WINStatues win by stealing all 5 gems before dawn. Guard wins by petrifying every player statue, or holding out until the timer ends.

What this is

A feel-first prototype of a Steam co-op party game — PvP Weeping Angels among identical statues, born from a study of the 2024–26 co-op wave (Lethal Company → PEAK → Meccha Chameleon). Everything is placeholder primitives on purpose; what's being tested is the nerve game: do you dare move while they're turning around?

Feedback that matters right now:

  1. Guard turn speed vs statue walk speed — can you ever cross open floor?
  2. Is being stared at while frozen mid-stride funny/tense, or just static?
  3. Gem pressure — do statues actually have to take risks?
  4. Wrong-zap penalty — does the guard fear false accusations?
